The AIDS Legal Council of Chicago held its 15th annual Advocates of the Year Awards May 5 at the Playboy Foundation, 680 N. Lake Shore Drive. Those honored were Swarup Mehta of Walgreens Pharmacy ( Outstanding Health Care Advocate ) ; the Rev. Stan Sloan of Chicago House and Social Service Agency ( Outstanding Community Advocate ) ; Linda Arnade of the Chicago Women's AIDS Project ( Outstanding Emerging Leader ) ; Peter McLoyd, Ruth M. Rothstein CORE Center ( Outstanding Community Advocate ) ; Anne Dunmore of the Ambulatory & Community Health Network of Cook County ( Outstanding Client Services Advocate ) ; and the Northwestern University Dance Marathon ( Outstanding Philanthropic Advocate ) .
