Thoroughly Modern Millie, Drury Lane, Oak Brook, through Dec. 20. The cast is as lively as a Midtown juice joint in the heart of the roaring '20s. Fantabulous choreography, lavish production values as lovely a vintage Erte print and a score of retro Broadway classics combine to create a truly marvelous party of a show. CS
Treasure Island, Lifeline Theatre, through Nov. 15. This new version breathes intelligent life into the evergreen classic, emphasizing character and moral ambiguity over high action, but with plenty of salt air nonetheless and authentic ship details in the design. JA
