CHICAGO—The Andersonville Chamber of Commerce (ACC), in partnership with The Bramble Arts Loft and Connect Gallery, is welcoming back its 18th annual Andersonville Arts Weekend, with the neighborhood transformed into a "walkable art gallery" from Friday, Sept. 30 — Sunday, Oct. 2. The three-day event includes over 40 businesses and more than 100 artists representing multiple genres including visual art, theatre, dance, music, makers, film, culinary, student art and much more.

Returning Arts Weekend mainstays include the Self-Guided Art Walk on all three days and the popular Night of Parties, an evening of artist receptions kicking-off on Friday, September 30 at 5 pm. New this year is the Andersonville Wine Art Walk, a curated wine and art experience on Sunday, October 2 from 3 — 6 pm.

This 2022 Arts Weekend headquarters is located at 5545 N Clark St., 2nd floor, the future home of The Bramble Arts Loft, a new, multi-stage performance venue. The headquarters is open Friday, September 30 from 5 pm — 10 pm (includes artist reception), Saturday, October 1 from 11 am — 7 pm and Sunday, October 2 from 12 — 3 pm. The Bramble space is accessible by elevator.

Arts Weekend is curated, in part, by Hyde Park's Connect Gallery with works by Hyde Park artists on display at The Bramble Arts Loft. The partnership is part of the 100 year 100 blocks | Connecting Communities Campaign, a diversity equity and inclusion initiative of the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce, with strategic partnerships including Hyde Park Historical Society, Connect Gallery and Open Architecture Chicago.

Comments Andersonville Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Laura Austin, "We're excited to finally welcome back one of our most popular annual events, celebrating Andersonville's strong connection to the arts within our thriving business community. Chicago's 'shop local capital,' is even more vibrant during Arts Weekend, as we showcase stunning, one-of-a-kind art throughout our one-of-a-kind business district."
